Angélica María is an internationally touring Chicana poet & musician originally from Los Angeles. Her work focuses on blending literary and musical landscapes to heal intergenerational wounds and reclaiming ancestral feminine power. This work has brought her across the country as a Tedx speaker, as a finalist for the National Poetry Slam 2018 and as an opener for Anderson Paak at the 2023 Get Lit Gala.

In 2019, she signed with Conscious Campus to bring poetry, music, and writing workshops to university campuses across the country. Her work has been featured in the L.A Times, The Breakbeat Poets Anthology: LatiNEXT (2020) on Haymarket Books and Girls Becoming Women (2021) on Workman Publishing. She is a 2024 Map Fund Recipient and has been invited to perform at countless universities across the U.S including Harvard University and Yale University, amongst others.

In 2020, Angelica Maria was contracted by Facebook to write a poetic song for their National Campaign "My People My Power", and in 2022, she wrote the first Spanglish poem for a national sports campaign in collaboration with Puma for the USL Women's Soccer League.

Wearing multiple hats as a producer, writer and composer, her music is a healing modality, combining a poetic lyrical style, storytelling and smooth soundscape to create a powerful listening experience.
